About Me

Hello!!!, my artistic name is GhostDog, I am a professional musician (guitar/bass player), and a producer. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor in Professional Music and a Minor in Music Production & Engineering. I discovered my love for music when I was 7 years old. My dad was a massive fan of The Beatles, the 70’ soul and funk music, and R&B: I used to listen to his records and that’s how I started listening to Motown bands like Graham Central Station, Weather Report, Miles Davis, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Wes Montgomery, The Jackson 5, Dianna Ross, The Temptations, and also bands like Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes and The Police, among many others.

During high school, I formed a band where I started playing the bass, and years after, the guitar. At the age of 14 I started playing funk thanks to Jorge, the father of my Uruguayan friend Walter: he taught us the drums and bass parts of bands like Tower of Power!, and we practiced together those grooves from the 70s. Years later, I left my comfort zone and decided to chase my dream, study at Berklee. Since then, I have played with my ex former band, "Los Asteroids"  in many festivals and countries, recorded two Records with them, created the Music Wins Festivals, and moved to the US to share my music with the world.
